The Kyle Palmieri Foundation and the New York State Dwyer Coalition are partnering to collect and amplify veterans’ experiences with the VA as local leaders and advocates push back against plans to close the Schenectady Community-Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC) in August. This closure threatens to strip veterans of the accessible, earned health care they rely on.

By gathering personal stories, we aim to highlight the real-world consequences of closing VA clinics, hold decision-makers accountable, and mobilize community support for keeping health care services local.
