Each NHL Club nominates a player to be considered for this recognition, and each nominee has a unique and powerful connection to his community efforts. Today, the New York Islanders nominee for the 2025-26 season -- Kyle Palmieri -- shares his story.

 The Kyle Palmieri Foundation is launching ROGER New York, a free online resource hub that connects veterans and their families to verified, up-to-date programs and services in New York. Veterans will be able to find personalized results by entering qualifying information, such as income, branch of service, residency, and more.  

Kyle Palmieri was announced as the New York Islanders nominee for the 2025-26 King Clancy Memorial Trophy on Friday.

Palmieri was nominated by the team for the King Clancy, which is awarded annually to the player who best exemplifies leadership qualities on and off the ice and has made a noteworthy humanitarian contribution in his community.
